A decade of small-church ministry. One big question: why does sharing the Good News online have to be so hard?
For over a decade, Adam Alderson has served on a small church staff, experiencing firsthand the unique challenges of ministry where everyone wears multiple hats. One of his longstanding responsibilities was managing the church's website and digital presence.
Over the years, he continually ran into a frustrating, universal dilemma: there are only so many hours in a week. He could either spend his time meticulously crafting digital content, or he could spend it actually replying to comments and building relationships with the congregation online. Despite having the technical skills to create high-quality media, the sheer time commitment meant he rarely had the bandwidth to do both.
Driven by a passion for both technology and community connection, Adam began exploring how his expertise in software application development could bridge this gap. Utilizing modern environments like Google Antigravity, he started architecting solutions for his own workflow. His first major victory was automating the church's weekly podcast stitching, turning a tedious thirty-minute chore into a nearly instantaneous process.
The vision quickly expanded when he developed a separate tool to automatically aggregate scattered weekly emails into fully formatted church bulletins. Adam realized he wasn't just building standalone tools; he was engineering a comprehensive content pipeline. He had created a system capable of taking raw information, like a Sunday sermon, and effortlessly repurposing it into the exact resources a church needs to operate and communicate effectively each week.
It didn't take long for Adam to realize his solution had broader applications. Conversations with peers at other churches revealed a shared exhaustion: ministry leaders everywhere were burning out trying to keep up with the demands of digital content creation.
Preachify AI was born out of this shared need. Adam founded the platform to transform his automated workflows into accessible software, empowering church leaders everywhere to spend less time managing content and more time actually engaging with their communities.
