Welcome to the first edition of Developer Diaries. At Preachify AI, we are solving a complex problem: automating the post-production workflow for churches. It sounds simple—take a video, make clips—but the engineering challenges behind the scenes are fascinating.

Every Monday, thousands of church media teams struggle with huge video files, synchronization issues between audio and video, and the tedious task of finding that one good 60-second clip for Instagram or YouTube.

Our Tech Stack

To solve this, we're leveraging some powerful technologies:

• Google Vertex AI: For multimodal understanding of video content and social copywriting.
• Python & FFMPEG: The workhorses of our media processing pipeline.
• Google Cloud Storage: For storing and managing video files.

What's Next?

We are currently working on our "Vertical Video Studio" which uses computer vision to automatically keep the speaker in frame, even when they walk around the stage. It's a challenging problem, but we're making great progress.
